St. Mary’s Convent High School is registered as an English-Medium High School which prepares its students for the S.S.C. Examination. The second and third languages taught in the school are compulsory Konkani/Marathi and Hindi from Standards V – X.
There is a paradigm shift in the curriculum as well as in the teaching for our students as they now have to learn specific subjects as well as gear up for exams.
Teachers use various techniques to inculcate the discipline of learning in them. They encourage students to perform role-plays, make projects, grasp the practical knowledge of the subject and promote creativity through prose and poetry pieces created by the students.
